Learning by Video
Classrooms of the 21st century look very different from what they used to be. There are many new ways of effective teaching that is used to educate students, video, being one of them.
Studies show some children have different learning style, which mean they learn better through different methods. The Visual learner learns best by seeing. They will do better if they can see demonstrations, take notes and picture certain aspect of the curriculum. Unfortunately teachers do not have the necessities to perform most of the demonstrations needed to teach a lesson. This is where videos come in!
Example: Imagine having to read a ten page report about global warming, not too exciting and chances are the student probably isn't totally interested in reading.
Solution: Watching a short video about global warming wouldn't only be more interesting, enticing and thought provoking, but also more informative. Videos grab children's attention better than books.
